Pináculo | Viewpoint | Funchal
Briefly
Located in the parish of São Gonçalo, on the eastern edge of Funchal, the Pináculo Viewpoint overlooks the ocean at an altitude of 283 metres. It provides the iconic “postcard” angle of the city, showing the harbour, the coastline, and the western mountains in a single frame.

How to Get There
Located on the old ER101 road leading towards Caniço. It is a well-known stop for tourists leaving Funchal toward the east.

- Cliff Edge: The viewpoint sits right at the edge of a massive cliff; hold your camera and hat securely.
