The Véu da Noiva Viewpoint allows you to admire an abundant waterfall that erupts from the vegetation-covered slope, falling directly towards the sea. Its name, “Bridal Veil,” comes from its appearance as the white water cascades against the dark northern cliffs.

How to Get There
Located on the coastal regional road (ER101) between São Vicente and Seixal. There is a very clear turn-off with a parking lot and a shop.

Important to Know
- The Old Road: From the balcony, you can see a closed section of the old “Antiga” road that was famously destroyed by landslides.
- Photo Spot: One of the most photographed locations on Madeira. Best light is usually in the early afternoon.
- Safety: The viewpoint is a safe walled platform. Do not attempt to hike on the old road section.
