Also known as Jamaica Beach, Laje Beach is a hidden gem on the North Coast. Unlike the famous sandy beach of Seixal, this one features a typically Madeiran landscape of smooth black pebbles and volcanic rocks, surrounded by towering green mountains and lush vegetation.

How to Get There
Drive into the village of Seixal and follow the signs for “Praia da Laje.” It is located on the western edge of the village, away from the main harbor.
