PR 20 — Vereda do Jardim do Mar
Briefly
A short but intense historical trail that connects the high plateau of Prazeres to the picturesque village of Jardim do Mar. The path consists of a steep series of stone steps carved into the cliffside, offering constant views of the ocean and the traditional agricultural “poios.” It is a classic “stairway to the sea.”

How to Get There
The trailhead is located in Prazeres, close to the village cemetery and the “Quinta pedagógica.”
Important: This is a linear descent. Arrange a taxi or a local to drive you back up to your car in Prazeres after you reach the village.
