Passenger Resuscitated at Cristiano Ronaldo International Airport Before Hospital Transfer

A man aged between 55 and 60 suffered a heart attack while boarding a plane at Madeira Airport today. According to JM, he had a heart problem, became unconscious, and was fading fast. While the airport medical team and paramedics were still on the way, the plane’s crew started resuscitation manoeuvers. Their efforts succeeded in reviving the passenger before the Santa Cruz Fire Department and EMIR team arrived. Once on site, the emergency teams stabilised the victim and arranged his transfer to the Dr. Nélio Mendonça hospital. A hospital source said he was being kept under observation in the emergency room and was in a critical condition.
