The Raposeira Viewpoint, located at an altitude of about 600 metres, offers one of the most expansive views over the coastline of the western part of the island. It is a “top-tier” panorama where you can see the transition from the high plateau to the fishing villages below.

How to Get There
Located in the parish of Fajã da Ovelha. Follow the local signs from the main ER222 road toward “Raposeira.” The viewpoint is clearly marked.

- The Scale: You can see both Jardim do Mar and Paul do Mar from this single point.
- Windy: Being high and exposed, it can be very windy even if it’s calm at the beach.
- Sunset Spot: This is a local secret for watching the sun “melt” into the Atlantic with zero crowds.
