Three Canadians Hurt in Ribeira da Alforra Crash

Three Canadian citizens were injured this afternoon in a collision involving a car and a bus in the Ribeira da Alforra area. The alert was raised at 16:15, prompting rescue teams to be sent to the scene. Reports indicate that the victims complained of pain in the lumbar area and upper limbs. They were treated at the location before being taken to the Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital. The transport was carried out by ambulances from the Volunteer Firefighters of Câmara de Lobos, the Volunteer Firefighters of Ribeira Brava and Ponta do Sol, and the Portuguese Red Cross. Their injuries were described as minor, and they were admitted for evaluation and medical follow-up. The circumstances of the accident have not yet been ascertained.
