The BBC BELEM arrived in Porto Santo shortly after 12:30 today carrying material for future wind farms on the island. The cargo includes “rolling” material, which needs to be unloaded as quickly as possible. That unloading operation is expected to be finished by Sunday. A second ship transporting turbines is scheduled to reach Porto Santo on the 4th of June. The deliveries are part of preparations for the wind farm project in Porto Santo.
