The Viewpoint over Ponta do Sol (known as Sobranceiro) offers a privileged view, sheltered by green mountains with the Atlantic Ocean as a background. It provides a perfect perspective of the picturesque village of Ponta do Sol, known as the sunniest spot on the island.

How to Get There
From the center of Ponta do Sol, follow the road ascending the eastern cliff toward Lombada. The viewpoint is a small balcony right by the road.

- Sunset: This is one of the best locations on the south coast to watch the sun sink into the ocean.
- Village View: You can see the iconic yellow and white architecture of the village and the small pier below.
- Agriculture: Look at the surrounding slopes to see the dense banana plantations that thrive in this sunny microclimate.
