Khôra is a registered Portuguese brand that handcrafts natural body care products on Madeira Island. Based in Santa Cruz, every product is made locally in small batches.
Khôra was founded by Elena Garcia Sierra, a biologist with a degree from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a master’s in Environmental Education and Sustainable Development. Her scientific background helps shape every formulation, combining botanical knowledge with carefully selected natural ingredients.
Production takes place in a laboratory certified by the Serviço Regional de Indústria. Products are tested at SGS laboratories and regulated by INFARMED (national authority) and CPNP (EU Cosmetic Products Notification Portal).
Products
Khôra’s first product line is waterless and biodegradable, made only with natural ingredients — no preservatives, dyes, or artificial fragrances. One of the newest additions is an avocado and green clay soap presented on locally sourced sheep’s wool.
