The most accessible trail on Madeira, specifically designed for people with reduced mobility, wheelchairs, and strollers. It follows a wide, completely flat path along a levada on the Paul da Serra plateau. It offers the beauty of the high-altitude landscapes with zero physical barriers.

Located right on the ER 110 road, slightly east of the main Rabaçal entrance. The start is clearly marked with accessibility symbols.

Important: This is the only official PR trail that is 100% flat and paved for wheelchair access.

Key Points

  • Inclusivity: The path is wide enough for two wheelchairs to pass each other.
  • High Plateau: You are at 1300 m altitude. The weather can change from sun to thick fog in minutes.
