According to the report, many of those present did not have an access pass, which added to the pressure at the start of the walk. In a post shared on social networks, one walker estimated that about 200 people were at the site. The same person claimed that “half of the walkers had not purchased a pass.” The situation was described as causing congestion close to the entrance rather than along the full trail.
