A new scam in Madeira is seeing paths that were originally reserved for 10.50 euros being resold to tourists for 60 euros. According to the report, the practice is being used as a business tactic by tourism professionals. The Forestry Institute told JM that it was not aware of any irregularities linked to the scheme.
