The Regional Government has revised the Tax on Petroleum and Energy Products (ISP) as part of the gradual “unfreezing” of the mitigation measures applied to fuels. The new rates were established by a diploma set on the 30th of April. Unleaded gasoline is now taxed at 448.49 euros per thousand litres, while road diesel has been set at 300.55 euros per thousand litres. Colored and marked diesel, which is mainly used in agricultural activities, now carries a tax of 46.90 euros per thousand litres. The update was made in response to recent fuel price developments. According to the diploma, the regional executive aims to slowly withdraw the tax support introduced to soften the impact of rising energy prices. The measure is intended to balance protection for families and companies with the encouragement of more sustainable consumption patterns.
