VIALITORAL has announced a temporary closure of the exit slip road on Junction 10 of the Expressway at the Santo António junction, in the Ribeira Brava–Machico direction. The restriction is needed because resurfacing works will be carried out in the area. The closure is scheduled for overnight on Thursday, the 9th of July, from 21:00 until 07:00 the following morning. Drivers are being told to use an earlier or later junction so they can choose an alternative route. The company said it appreciates road users’ patience and asked them to follow the temporary road signs in place. VIALITORAL also noted that the works could change depending on weather conditions.
