The average asking price of residential properties advertised for sale in Madeira reached €590,000 in July, according to the latest figures released by Imovirtual. That figure represents a 2.6% rise from the previous month. The rental market also moved higher, with average advertised rent climbing to €1,600 per month, up 6.7% on June. Even so, rents in Madeira are still 8.6% lower than they were in July last year. Nationally, the average asking price for homes increased to €435,000, which is 1.4% above June and 2.4% higher than in July 2025. Across Portugal, average advertised rents reached a record €1,350 per month, rising 3.8% both month-on-month and year-on-year. Imovirtual said Portugal’s property market is developing at different speeds across the country, with Lisbon and Porto showing signs of stabilising while several inland regions continue to post strong price growth.
