The Portuguese Institute of Atmosphere and Sea (IPMA) has issued a yellow weather warning for the mountainous regions of Madeira because of hot weather. The alert is scheduled to begin at 03:00 tomorrow and will remain in effect until 18:00 on the 1st of August. IPMA says the high temperatures are expected to continue during this period.
